this was my first real experience recording my own songs in my own studio. i spent lot of time making this record. it was recorded in the bedroom of one apartment and two rental houses on a nubus protools system.
in august 2000, episode 51 was given acoustic guitar magazine's homegrown cd award.

all of these songs were written and performed by adam kay with the exception of the following: crawling... was written by adam kay and jeremy raub. casey's last ride was written by kris kristofferson.
